For installing windows 10 on macBook Pro or iMac. You must have Windows 10 ISO file. Therefore, you must download the ISO Disc image by the procedure below.

Step 1. In macOS Mojave, open Safari Browser. Further, any web browser which you are using.

Step 2. Open Microsoft website. For that open Microsoft Windows 10 ISO. Therefore, click the click below to download.

Step 3. There are different version of windows. Therefore, the one which you want to install on your mac operating system. You have to select and download the particular windows 10. However, according to my experience, Windows 10 Professional is best to select. Because, it is light and runs smoothly.

Step 4. Further, you have to click Confirm.

Step 5. There are different variation of Languages. Therefore, you have to select the one which you are comfortable.

Step 6. Next, you have to click Confirm.

Step 7. Moreover, you will get two versions of windows operating system. For example, 32-bit and 64-bit. Therefore, you have to select 64-bit. However, if you desire, you can download 32-bit as well. But, 64-bit is more powerful and compatible with most of the software and games.

Step 8. Now you have to select the location and download it on your mac machine.

How to install Windows 10 on Mac with Boot Camp

Let’s prepare the file and start installing Windows 10. Therefore, you have to follow the steps below and get started.

Mac Configuration Boot Camp

Step 1. You have to open Boot Camp Assistant. Therefore, You have to click Search icon on the top right corner.

Step 2. A Spotlight Search Bar will appears on the front screen.

Step 3 . Now you have to write Boot Camp Assistant. A Boot Camp Assistant icon will comes up. Further, you have to double click on it to open the software.

Step 4. Moreover, you have the Boot Camp Assistant windows in front of you screen. Further, you will Continue button at the bottom of windows. Therefore, you have to click on it.

Step 5. Boot Camp will automatically locate the ISO File on your system. But, if you have the ISO file on on Desktop. It is far batter to take it in desktop. However, there will be no problem if it is not on desktop.

Step 6. Next, you have to select Boot Camp partition size. By default you will see a portion with 48 GB under windows icon. However, you can add more memory space by sliding the partition from the divided area. However, remember that once windows installation has completed. You cannot adjust the storage. Therefore, You have to carefully select the required storage as you want for windows operating system.

Step 7. Now it is time to select Install.

Step 8. A Password window will appear. You have to enter your macOS Mojave password. These is due to security reason that if someone else is making change. It won’t let it continue. After entering the password. You have to click on OK.

Remember, that now Windows Support software will be downloaded. It takes some time to complete. therefore, you have to wait depending now speed is you internet.

Windows Configuration Boot Camp

That’s it. After Windows support software will be downloaded. Your mac machine will automatically restarts. Further, you will see Windows 10 Setup Screen. Therefore, Now it is time to install Windows 10. But, also remember that the installation thoroughly same as installing windows on PC. Therefore, if you have installed Windows 10 before. Then you will not find any difficulty installing on mac using boot camp.

Windows 10 Installation

Step 1. Windows Setup wizard will appears. First you have to select the Language for windows 10, Time and currency format and Keyboard or input method. I have selected the setting like below,

When you have selected all. Then you have to click on Next.

Step 2. In second page you have to select the operating system you want to install. I have Windows 10 Pro x64 select. Then Click on Next.

Step 3. Further, you have license agreement. Therefore, you have to accept the license terms by click on check box. Then you have to click on Next.

Step 4. Next, you have to select the installation drive. However, you will see a drive with name of BootCamp. Therefore, you have to select the drive. Then you have to click on Delete. Because before, you may not delete the partition. Next button will not to active. Once you have deleted the partition. Then you will see Unallocated Space drive. Then you have to select that drive and click Next.

Step 5. moreover, you will get the final installation wizard page. Which will show the progress. Therefore, you have to wait for installation to complete.

Step 6. After installation will complete. laptop will restarts. Further, will will take you to some simple configuration which you have to select.

Windows 10 post Installation configuration.

Here you will configure some post installation setting. Therefore, you have to check the steps below to find the best setting for your windows 10

Step 1. The first page will appear. It will as about region. Therefore, you have to select the region which you are living. It is important because the time etc will be automatically configure with the help of region.

Step 2. After that, you will ask for keyboard layout. Therefore, you have to select US. Because it is one of the most usable layout. Then click on Next.

Step 3. Next it will ask about second layout. However, I have Skip that because I don’t want second layout. However, you can add more then one layout if you desire to add.

Step 4. Moreover, Let’s connect you to a network page will come up. You can Skip it as well for you. Then after installation you can add the network for connecting internet.

Step 5. Further, you have to name your PC. Then click on Next.

Step 6. Then you have protect windows by giving password. Therefore, you have enter secure password. Then click Next.

Step 7. Next page will ask you about to confirm Password by submitting same password which you have already entered.

Step 8. Then you have to add a hint for your password. In case you will forget. Then, with the help you hint you have recover windows 10 password once again.

Step 9. Then Cortana your personal assistant will ask you about to help. Either you have click on Yes to activate that. Or NO to leave it.

Step 10. Further, you have to choose privacy setting for your device. You have to check all the setting carefully and select the one which suit you best. However, I have let all the setting as it is. And Click Accept.

Now after few moment windows 10 will start.

Windows 10 Boot Camp Installation

When you Windows 10 will start for the first time. you will directly see a windows will appear with the title of Boot Camp. Therefore, you have to make now final installation and then you are complete ready for using windows 10. Therefore, you have to follow the steps below.

  1. The first wizard page is welcome to the boot camp installer. Therefore, you don’t need anything. Simply click on Next.
  2.  Next, you have to agree the license. Therefore, you have to click on check box. And click on Install.
  3.  After installation complete. You have to click on Finish. Then it will ask for the restarting. Therefore, you have to click on Yes.
